What's with the weird dark areas on the top where the trees are? They don't look natural.
This photo is too busy for my taste :(
I'd prefer a little less on the black (or contrast, whetever you raised).

I like the way the snow looks as if it was gonna fall on the guy.

Today's wedding ceremony - the church was under restoration and NO ONE BOTHERED TO TAKE THE STUFF OFF JUST FOR AN HOUR. :mad:

I tried to give this image some significance, but I didn't have time to get it exactly how I wanted it.

Lovely b+W conversion. Did you do it yourself or use a preset / action? 8/10, where the last two points lack originality.



Just finished editing 170 church photos (pitch black room so as to get the most accurate colors possible) on the world's worst lighted mission UNDER RESTORATION AND NO ONE BOTHERED TO TAKE THE DAMN YELLOW TAGS OFF OR AT LEAST LET ME MOVE FROM 1 OF 2 SPOTS. "I want all the colors to show right but my dress has to be white!" DAMN IT LADY!!!!

technically very nice shot and i like the expression, but that person in the foreground gets bit too much in the way and kinda ruins this shot pretty badly. also since he is in the way i would crop big part of him away to empathize more on the kid. ill give it 5/10

The whole point of the photo is her being covered by the foreground, a little girl amidst the crowed . If I wanted a portrait, I'd have taken it a little more to the left :D
Guess the photo does suck because it didn't convey that sense. O well :(

Commentary on yours:

HOLY WB!! The red/ heavy orange doesn't do it for me. Heck, some may even get offended, saying "ZOMG IT"S A BURNING CROSS!!one!1"
Good exposure, great composition, although the post vignetting can be lessened just a tad bit (no way that's natural :D) Lower blacks a little imo.
