If you have to edit 1-2 pictures, sure! He edits ~600 every wedding.

Lightroom is like an evolution of iphoto.
Very good for picture sorting, and editing tons of pics.

i can do 90% of what you can in PS 20x faster in LR. Who needs layers when you have a brush that does everything magically?
