Yeah, pretty much. People get bashed way more when it comes to contests, I think they get all rabid over the fg xD Or just held to a higher standard I guess.

Yeah, that's true... could be a psychological effect on the person critiquing .

When I send a submission, I always think it's good, till I see what other pictures were sent..
Then I realize my photo was not that good after all :rofl:

That's why I always do my best to partecipate instead.

I like to see what other people really see into my pictures. Being anonymous until the end really helps having honest comments :D

I dunno, I think everyone here is pretty much brutally honest all the time xD Thats whats cool about this forum, especially after being in one where all you ever see is "great photos!!11!"

But for some reason it just sucks more to get told your photo blows when its a contest :lol:
