Any of you guys ever thought of making a site that describes your travels with photos (and short stories attached to them)? I am planning at the moment to make a site(blog) like this. Plus I would add some things like how to choose a camera (point and shoot and bridge cameras, as I do not have enough experience to talk about DSLRs) or any other tips to beginner photographers.

Heh, the design is nice and simplistic but that's not what i'm commenting on.

I strictly believe that you should only show your best possible work on your site/ portfolio. Alot of big name photographers only have like 4-5 images of a particular subject online. Quality > quantity here.

For example, in your portraits section.. if the images were labeled like this

1  2

3  4.. etc

I would only keep 1, 8, 9, and 10. Not that the others shots isn't good. But those few just standout more as being better then the rest.

In the product shots.. There are too many of the same subject.. I would try to cut down some of the dupes. 2 of the same item is more then enough imo.

yup I´m aware of that. I just thought I´d fill it up for now with 12 photos for each category. I´ll definately make a more severe assortment soon. thanks ! hence the efforts to get the studio.
