Bit confused atm.

550d 60d and 7d are all very similar in terms of imaging quality.

maybe i should go with the mark ii and get a job and get some lenses later on.

Whats is everyones thoughts on this.

The 5D II + a one-hundred dollar 50mm 1.8 II is still awesome.

If you have the cash to spend now, don't waste it on the T2i. You'll be wanting a full frame camera sooner than you think. I'd go for the 5d and get more glass as you go on. I've been using the 50 1.8 for everything and it's been good enough so far.

From what I've heard, the 60d was a miserable failure from Canon, don't even touch it. However, if you are choosing between the 7d and T2i, go for the T2i, unless you shoot sports or other fast pace subjects. The main difference from the T2i to the 7d is the frame rate, the improved AF system, and the build quality is improved.

i want a decent lens to begin with, not too expensive but a nice lens.
something to get me started.

i really need peoples opinions on this.

I think if you´ve never used a DSLR before, a mark II is quite an over the top-purchase.
