Ok I tried to take some pictures of my horses this morning after coming home from a long night at work.
The light was beautiful and the sky was so pure... But the cold was insane!!! Even with gloves it only took a few seconds before the pain started from my frozen fingers....
Back in the house where I got a nice fire started, and got to an older picture and tried to combine 2 different textures.. guess what: I am absolutely happy with the result!

I need to go get some sleep but I know what I'll do on my cold days.. play more with archives :)

I played around with some of my wedding photos and I just LOVE this so much!

I know it may be a bit too much for some but they are my photos and I love the way it looks like that!

It's fun isn't it?
And it gives a way different feeling to the original image!
Nice work here you did!

With all the available free to use textures I know for my part I wouldn't bother making them but leave it to the 'texture pros'.
I prefer to concentrate on photography.
If the picture looks good as is, then the texture is to add a feeling to it :)

Wow Balakain's #3 photo looks incredible with its editing. The original shot was ok, but this looks awesome!

Yeah sometimes I'll go through a lot of my old work and just play around with dozens of images. Adds a great feel to them for sure.
