Well not everyone thinks that grass is better on the other side lol. I have met people who would just want to remain where they are and have absolutely no interest in traveling to other countries lol but then again we are all different some may choose to live under a rock and are probably happy with it.

OMG. Do you know how crappy the rural areas of those countries are? I haven't seen or been to the rural areas in China but from what I have heard it's not really a good place to live. I mean everyone is living in dirty old houses and huts and many of them don't even have clean water or any kind of sanitary equipment so basically you would have to dig a hole in your backyard if you want to do your business lmao. Basically the living standard is extremely low in those places but I am sure it's easy to find a nice piece of land to grow weed though laugh.gif jk.

Hell yea id rather live in good climate in some dirty old house, growing my weed and food and eating my own animals. Some modern comforts doesent really bring eny happiness to people. But because people think that they are happy when they got a good house etc they will feel that for a while, but if you look how depressed people are in for example denmark(that should be the "best" place) and in some countryside of india(where everything should be fucked up in western standards) you will notice that people in denmark arent more happy afterall. If you make the same thing in extreme and giving some kid everything he ever wants, he wont get happy, but everything else in the end.

What comes to iceland, id rather get killed than go there biggrin.gif

I guess you are one of those hippies who want to be closer to mothernature or whatever lol. Though I do agree with you that money and modern comfort can't make you happy but I believe you can still live a happy life while still have some of those fancy stuff like a toilet and a shower in your house tongue.gif biggrin.gif.
You don't need to live like a bum to be happy wink.gif.

hahaha what's so bad about Iceland? Other than the fact that everyone on that island is related to each other lol that's just not right unsure.gif wacko.gif and they don't really like foreigners either at least that's what I have heard.

I dont coinsider myself as hippie, but i share some thought with hippies. I just dont think that i can be as happy here as i could be living in some more simple way. You can be happy with the modern comforts and i would like a working toilet if i would live in some countryside of india for example. Its not only about the comforts, its the way this whole western world goes and the lifestyle here.

Mates brother moved to some hut to germany with no modern comforts and hes happy there, he still gets money from finnish goverment for living tho, so he dont need to bum for food. Id like to try something like that for a while, but maybe not in germany and at winter happy.gif

That's a pretty neat landscape, but not apocalyptic enough for my tastes!

I know what you mean here and I do agree with you. I mean I would rather be happy living in a mud hut in Africa than sit here with all those fancy stuff like computers and cellphones and be miserable. Everything has a price and sometimes you have to give up material things to actually be happy but of course not everyone think like that considering how people out there who would do anything to get rich rolleyes.gif. Oh btw you may want to avoid China if you want to live a happy and carefree life and without a lot of luxury and having people around you who are obsessed with money because those Chinese people are known for their greed and obsession with money. Believe me I have seen enough when I was there a few years ago. I think in my family only my grandparents whom both have past away are not obsessed with money and wealth that's also one of the reasons why I don't want to have anything to do with them heh.

I guess it's a matter of personal taste. Though I do like to see those kind of Martian landscape I would never pay a lot of money by flying all the way to Iceland to see it though lol. I'd rather visit some nicer and more beautiful looking places like Hawaii or Australia biggrin.gif.
