I'm off now to solder on some better leds on my comp (the ones I recently bought sucked sad.gif), reinstall xp and fix my wireless! biggrin.gif *sparetime*


i dont mean that macs are harder to custom build, its that the components are more limited and they are more expensive. by 6-8gb i said virtual memory not physical. i thought 32bit could only handle 2gig, which is plenty physical memory for a home pc. vista says it uses 40-50% idle RAM xp says it uses significantly less, but the use of both OS are about the same (xp being lesser, because none of the gimmiks like sidebar.) Mac's arenet as universal and so arnet as useful. but the software is better.

the simple thing is every OS is crap atm. vista having the slight edge, due to it supporting more stuff smile.gif

PC is easier to build than a Mac.
With a PC you get much more compatibility between parts, motherboards, graphics cards and RAM.
While with a Mac, almost all the parts you put into it have to be made by Apple


(Trust me, I've built PC's before and seen inside a Mac, it's easier to build a PC)

+ The only Mac you would be able to custom build would have to be a Mac Pro, since it's the only one with a tower.
The rest are pretty much like laptops of all in 1 pc's which are REALLY hard to do...

Unless you were talking about making a PC, then hacking it to operate on OSX (Then it's easy)
