heh yeah

Hm i live there so discussing my country is probably not a good idea lol wink.gif (dont think im angry or something haha). Holland = The netherlands, it is a different name for the same country. There are different areas called North-holland and South-Holland which are only a small part of the Netherlands but by using the word holland people usually are talking about the whole country. Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands. I just thought it would be easier to use the word Holland because i think more people have heard of that..

uh ok. thanks for the info but to me we are all the same and I just find it silly and dangerous when people start to see those unimportant differences like nationalities and religions, and that has lead to many wars and conflicts which have lead to the loss of so many innocent lives and caused soooo much pain and suffering...

anyway lol enough about boring politics and crap

so do you guys have more pics of churches? lol well now I kinda wish that I had walked around even more last summer and taken more photos of churches and especially the interior decorations of them

I just went to the bus after school, so these pictures was shot fast ! biggrin.gif

Edit: Yup. Next time i will resize the pictures a bit more!!

Well. On the 2. picture the building to the right between the church and the building farest away is a cloister. It was built in 1228 by monks.

Behind the church and the building I just described there is a old plaze.
It look a bit like this:

Ribe was the first town in Denmark. Dated back to ~700. First there was a wood church and then they made the "Domkirke" church and later on the "sct. catharinæ" which I posted. smile.gif

Haha. I can not remember if it have been renovated. It is made of Monk bricks. They are like 2,5x bigger than ordinary bricks.

But I will try to take pictures inside tomorrow. smile.gif
