I've done this before, sort of. I've made extremely large landscapes using both horizontal and vertical images, I never thought about exploiting the DOF like that though.

The shallow dof is the whole point with that method otherwise it would be just a panorama photo.
Here is a better explanation of what it really is about:

Hello guys.

I was thinking about where are you from?
I am from Denmark a place near Germany, and I live in a city called Ribe.

Sometime in the future I would like to travel to an other country. Do a lot of photographing and experience the differences.

I'm from the United States, I live in Pennsylvania (One of those states) which is just South of New York and not to far south of Eastern Canada.

You'll find a lot are from the US here! :) or Europe area. I remember seeing a poll way back about it, was kind of neat.

I am from Canada, Saskatchewan. City called Moose Jaw. Pretty small city, and the area I live in is pretty ... well... unlike the other parts of Canada. It's the cheapest, less travelled in, in the middle province. :O And people make fun of it!

Qhotex, you have good questions. Makes up for all the other greek language that I don't understand :lol:

I live in a small town (under 2000 people) on the south shore of Montreal, in Canada, where everyone speaks French, unlike the rest of the country where English is spoken :p

I grew up in Sweden, Scandinavia (northern Europe) and lived there until about a year and a half ago when I moved to southern Canada.

Say! Which countries and cities have you been to?

I have been to Baltimore, USA;
Shanghai, Peking and a few other major cities in China;
and of course Sweden and Canada lol
but I have never been to Denmark or Norway other than I had to catch a connecting flight at Kastrup and I used to live like a hundred kilometers from the Norwegian border :rolleyes:
and of course a few hours in London where I had to take the subway or the underground as those Brits call it from one airport to another :D
