how about 1d mkI or 1ds + some old medium/large format manual focus lens with tilt/shift adapter? i just saw one 1d sold for under 200€ and i think price of 1ds is around 500€ atm. you can also make tilt/shift lens out of medium format lenses quite easily by mounting it to flexible plastic tube.

I actually checked out some used 1d´s on eebay. they looked like total crap. I guess that model is just too old. You barely find a good looking, fully working one I guess. If you know any else, make sure to let me know ! I´d definately buy a good used 1D

I see you are braver than me :p
I guess there are a lot of options as Antichrist mentioned if you don't mind eebay.
How about a 5D classic with ef 17-40L? I am sure you can get both used for less than 1500 bucks. It produces images with minimal distortion and reasonably sharp corners.

btw I think you'll need to see a doctor if you get an erection by just looking at your signature :p

Has anyone in here tried the Brenzier method?
I just joined a group on Flickr and saw some really awesome photos taken using that method so I am just wondering if anyone in here has ever done this before and if it is hard

damn cant decide.

Either keep the 1000D and buy a tokina 11-16mm + a tamron 17-50mm + a speedlite 470 ex II + a battery grip

OR

Sell the 1000D together with the kit lens and a 75-300mm EF-S and get a EOS 7D with 15-85mm kit instead.

I've done this before, sort of. I've made extremely large landscapes using both horizontal and vertical images, I never thought about exploiting the DOF like that though.
