Hahahaha you had to be here with me while your picture was uploading..
I'm on dial-up, as everyone knows by now...
So all I see is blue...blue... blue... more blue... nothing else but blue...
Then slowly, line by line, the duck appeared then it kinda stopped uploading where the reflexion legs are..
I was gonna comment, nice picture but I wish we could see the reflection cause it looked like the water was very still..
Then boom, the full picture appeared, with the full reflection!!!

It is a very beautiful capture!!!
I love it!!
Only thing I would have changed if it was me, is crop it to have it in a square with equal amount of blue above the duck and under the reflection...
But, that's me...
The rest is really wow!!!!
9.5 / 10

---------

Ok now that the 12 year old is gone on vacations, I'll post a picture of my daughter...
Title of this photo is: Predator (yes, like the movie, therefore the border was just for fun :) )
She is hiding, stalking her prey (her brother in that case) and ready to attack!!!
BEWARE!!!! :evillol:

Technicly speaking, I am not so happy about the little wheat stem that got in front of my AF point, making so that I lost the focus on the eye
I tried to go back a week later (work schedule, couldn't go sooner) but the wheat is ripe now and not as nice looking, and went too late in the day, the light is harder and with more red cause of sunset...
So I have to be happy with this photo...

I'm not digging the composition too much. The shutter is way too fast IMO. And the colors are completely washed out.

Metering Mode: Matrix
Exposure: program (Auto)
Exposure Mode: Manual
White Balance: Auto
Flash Fired: No (Auto)
Color Space: sRGB

According to your EXIF data, i would stop down the lens to f/16 or f/20~ if you camera has override functions. I would actually reduce the exposure compensation to keep the rocks semi-dark. Use a CPL filter or just stick a polarized lens in front to reduce some of the glare.

2/10 overall :(

Playing with ultra thin DoF. Only eyes in sharp focus :P

See! You can be nice. That wasn't so hard was it? Other members will respect you if you start respecting them, everyone deserves a chance if they're willing to change. I'm sure members here will be glad to give you a chance.

Anyway, i do appreciate the compliments.. but honestly.. i think i still have a long way to go in my photographic journey. :)
