50mm is one limited focal length. It is 3 stops faster. Half the size. Lighter. Nicer for portraits. Inconspicuous.

Living in the day is just getting up and doing it. Sounds like you're living in the future. Have fun when you want. But the type of fun that leaves an imprint on you for the rest of your life.

Unprotected sex. Got it.

So I managed to refine my research based on your input, and I see exactly what you've meant about the 24-105mm being the only lens.

I'm going to give myself a few more days to a couple more weeks to sit on this and think before I impulse buy. I want to pick this up Saturday and have fun, so we'll see.

The last thing I'm pondering on is whether I should take a step down to a cropped sensor camera or not, and spend less. Probably a bad idea. I'm quite excited about the 6D.

The differences I've seen aren't too distinct. I noticed some comparison photos the 24-105 had washed out colors compared side-by-side with the 24-70... but that seems like the reviewer's fault? Was odd. Anyway, the 24-105mm seems to cover a better range for sure, and the 24-70 seems a tad bit heavy for a carry-around, plus its range is so limited that I've read in a lot of reviews that primes seem to really replace it in a lot of instances. It's a carry-around, and for carry-around, the 24-105mm seems to win for my purposes.

That said, I don't know what I'm talking about... well... I only know what I'm talking about in theory, which is worth very little haha.

exactly, you will not be able to tell the difference

originally I said get a good cropped sensor body
however, you have already fallen in love with the 6D
so I say just splash out and get it, other wise in a few weeks or months you will be wondering what u missed out on
