I don't plan on doing much outside work, so do I really need the extra power?

that you will have to decide for yourself, the 467/8 are decent units, and will work well but i am sure in a few months time you will want to go bigger (as i did)
the 560/5 has a faster recyle time at the same output (eg using the 467 on full power and the 565 at 1/2 power) that said the cycle time of the 467 is very good

I just got the flash in today :D. So far it seems pretty simple, and fortunately my ceilings are low enough to be able to bounce light off of. Im sure Ill still have something to ask you eventually.

The manual in the box said it included a stand but there wasnt one, so right now I just have it on the camera..doesnt seem too bad though.

just ask around, someone will give u one of those stands, i have a few, only needs to keep 1 for rare occasions
have you looked in the pouch in the flash bag thing? might just be hiding in there

ceilings dont need to be that low to bounce the light off it, even if its hight of 2stories/ floors it will work
when you are bouncing the light, zoom the flash too 105mm unless you have a large group of people etc
