Depend which males.

You'd be arrogant

The regular male isn't too interested in being model shot, so that'd come through in the photos.

The better looking males are usually douchebags. You can't even say 'beautiful' or 'good' without sounding somewhat homo. I'm just not made to shoot males

The one I'm shooting offered just to help me out; he's another photographer and knows how important practice is. Many males in general are douche bags. And many girls are bitches. I guess it helps that I'm a girl in this case, but you just have to hope for the best with who you shoot I suppose!

Third or fourth ever model photo shoot... This one is clearly of a girl, but I'm shooting a male next weekend!

What do you use for the lighting?

she's purty. GJ on even light. You may want to enhance the eyes just a tad bit since she has them small. ~6 +contrast and +.1 or .2 exposure

be prepared thats all, just do a research, sketch some poses, expressions, be sure about what you gonna do ... if you gonna do 10 pics, know exactly how you want these 10 pics will look before shoot, never be unprepared. simple gl
