What's a good one for Nikon? :D Also a dumb question, how do I find out which size to get? I have a basic lens 18-55mm and it says .28m does that mean I need to find a fisheye that is the size .28m? D:

18-55mm is the "size", .28 might be the minimum focus distance
nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 is the best out there but that will cost you a fortune
the tokina 11-16mm is awesome and the price is reasonable
but the question is; how wide do you need to go/what do you want to photograph?
14mm on a full frame is slightly wider than 90deg, so that is great for interiors as standing in the corner you can shoot the whole room

mainly want to use it for portrait photography.

It really depends on if you are shooting with 1.6x crop or 1.3x crop or 35mm full frame and how wide you want go.
For 1.6x crop I would suggest you take a look at EF 24mm f1.4L II. It's quite expensive but it's also the best f1.4 wide angle prime Canon has to offer and much much better than any of those fast wide angle primes Sigma has to offer.
here are some sample images: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=649213&page=157
If you are shooting 35mm ff then you may want to consider the EF 35 f1.4L

I guess in the end it really depends on how much you want to spend :p
