The problem lies in who will determine whether your photo applies to the contest or not? For example, if the theme is birds, but someone shoots a cat looking at them, is that appropriate?

Is it from the cats perspective, like where you can see the birds?

If not, then Id say it doesnt apply.

Yeah, Id say that would apply. I mean, so long as it wasnt so abstract that you couldnt tell it was a bird.
