but there are so many things i enjoy about my current camera that 5d mkII is missing <_< . also if id go with 5d, i would definitely want 135mm f/2, and then id need to sell my 24-105 and lose wide angle

You can keep your 24-105 (24-70 >) and if you're not already on FF, it gets wider. save up for a 135/2 (I want it so bad but it's so close to the 100mm 2.8 L IS Macro I'm not sure). Since Nikon released its 35 1.4 (FINALLY), Canon will probably counter sometime soon with a 135 1.4 or 1.8.

i dont really have enough income to save from atm. also one thing that i like about 1.3 crop over full frame is that i can shoot with low f-numbers and still not get too thin dof, for example when shooting portraits with 50mm in low light. most of the times 50mm gives bit too small dof at 1.4 or 1.6 even with 1.3 crop, and if i would get a full frame i would need to use like f/2.2 and that would mean increasing iso and usually im already using max iso that im comfortable with

what comes to that 100 2.8 vs 135 2 problem. they are quite different lenses imo. you can get much smaller dof with the 135mm and fits to purposes where you need small dof or want to focus on a distance and still have reasonably small dof. 100 is a macro lens, personally i wouldnt get that 100mm to anything else than macroing. imo decide if you need a macro or portrait lens, 100mm isnt that good for portrait, but 135mm isnt good for macro.

I rather like the sharpness of the 100mm macro L IS for portraits. Hardly any distortion, and LR corrects it. But looking @ eek's 135L with the 5d II has really really made it diffucult not to buy it :D

Oh I'll mow for you. If you have one of those vehicle mowers I'll have fun with that!

I have a John Deere tractor keke. It's fun because my back yard is sloppy ^^

I have both the 100L Macro and 135L

I use the 135L way more then the 100L macro. Just because it's a macro doesn't mean it can't do anything else... It's an excellent portrait lens as well, crazy crazy sharp. The 135L is actually a decent macro lens too with tube :P

Depends on your priorities, if you shoot macro more, get the 100.. If you shoot portraits more, get the 135L.

but it doesent have multi stop metering, good weather seals(yes it can take crappy weathers, but the weather seals are pretty damn unrealible and might fail any moment), good af etc etc.

i got canon 50mm 1.4 and zeiss 135mm 3.5 besides 24-105

Why would you want to manual focus?

that zeiss is pretty awesome lens, but because its old it doesent have good coatings so it flares pretty easily and its manual focus/aperture, but its hella sharp(and its as sharp wide open as stopped) and has nice contrast
