I got my flash probably two years ago :) I am not sure what the bag is called anymore, I was thinking of actually getting the Deviant Art Camera bag :D

Assuming you were talking to me? :O

Yeah, i was talking to you.. I don't recall a flash, but i could just be stupid

I've seen the Deviant art bag, it looks very sweet. But the colors seem awkward to me. :P

hows the sigma 10-20mm lens perform? i always was wondering about whether to purchase one or not..

It's not really bad but there are better alternatives though especially now that Sigma has released an even wider lens, the 8-16mm :O
Mine was really soft on the left side before I sent in for calibration and now it's producing some reasonably sharp images.

This photo here was taken with a 40D and Sigma 10-20 showing some of my most recent purchases lol. If you want to see more photos taken with that lens just check out my Flickr photostream for some of those wide landscape shots.

@Eek
Wow you have some nice telephoto zoom lenses there!
What are those thingies with flash hotshoes on them? Are those for off camera flash setup?

Hey! I have been tempted to get that Deviant art bag too! I just find all my current camera stuff and bag not looking exciting enough lol. Btw you have Lowepro Slingshot 200AW :p

Does anyone know where to buy some nice looking and comfy camera straps? I just find Canon straps kinda ugly lol. I wish it says something like Deviant Art or even D2JSP on it instead of stupid Canon logo :D

ZOMG. I see a 24-70. a 35L :o and a 135L

Gah, i so want a 135L, it fits my shooting style alot more!! Just need to sell my 70-200 first :P

And yeah, those things with hotshoes are wireless flash triggers. I have one set dedicated for wireless shutter and 1 set with 3 receivers for off camera flash.

I do, i have a set of domke grippers rebadged as canon professional and a set of crumpler industry disgrace. Both are ultra comfy and way way way better then the stock canon straps (those dig into my neck).

I can show you a pic of them tomorrow. I'm getting ready for bed so don't feel like getting the camera. :)

Yeah I think since you have a 100-400L you don't really need your 70-200 just get a 135L and I promise you that you will be very happy lol.
It produces creamy bokeh and extremely shallow dof but also makes you want to upgrade to a fullframe :(

here is one I took with the 135L

Creamy bokeh and second to none subject separation is why i want it. The pop it has is really a signature to that lens. If i need something longer and faster, i can always smack my 1.4x on it. :)

Plus, i won't look like a stalker doing candids with it. It's pretty hard to "blend-in" with a white lens mounted -_-.

P.S- Did you happen to post that pic anywhere else? It looks oddly familiar.

Edit: now i remember.. you posted this at PoTN right? In the 135L sample picture thread? I was going thru it last night and i remember seeing it.

hmm that picture is in my Flickr photostream and it's also uploaded on Deviant Art and photography-on-the.net lol
Oh yeah since you already have a 1.4x so it could easily replace your 70-200 plus you get a much faster lens too :D
lol so do you take pictures of strangers on the street or something? :p

Edit: haha you are on there too?? Well that sample picture forum is DANGEROUS because it makes you want to buy some of those really expensive L lenses :(

Yeah, i'm on there and FM since i first started photography back in december. Great resources and tons to learn on there.

I agree it's a dangerous part to lurk, thanks to the archieve section.. my wallet mysteriously got thinner, alot thinner :(

I do some street photography like these. I'm sure you've seen them before.

K, now i really need to get to bed. Got work early tomorrow.

Oh I love the colors on it! When I have an extra dollar or so, I'm definitely going to get it. It'll probably hold the new lens I am going to get later on unlike the one I have now.

Wow, i had no idea it cost that much. I was expecting it to be in the $50 range.

For those of you that dunno which bag we're talking about.. it's this one

@Futurama- Heres the straps i promised to show you.

Heres the Domke Gripper. It's what i have on the camera in the summer. I like the minimalistic look of it, not wide and low profile. I really like this strap alot, even though it's not as wide, it doesn't dig into your neck like the canon oem strap does. Very flexible and doesn't get in the way at all.

Heres the reverse side. You can see there are quick release metal hooks too. I don't feel safe with the plastic hooks the optech pro straps use.

The strap itself. The side with the two stripes down the middle are the grippy side. So it doesn't slide off your shoulder.

And here is my crumpler industry disgrace. A little more "fashionable" strap. ULTRA ULTRA comfy. The black thing that extends from the middle are padding for the back of the neck.

The underside of it. Tons of padding made from breathable material, i can use this in the spring or fall. But it does get a little hot in the summer. The only thing i don't like about it is that it's kinda big and stiff. Gets in the way sometimes. The letters are made from anti-slip material, so it stays on the shoulder.
