well ive never had experience with eeebay and im afraid of scammers and such and i dont know if i would risk that for something as pricey as lenses.

i loved the nikkor 10.5 fisheye its a really nice lens.

I believe eebay has this "successfully completed transaction" rating or whatever its called lol kinda like Trusted tag on JSP so you could just do business with them.

Ok, I am waaaaaaaaay too lazy to read all the replies in here but it is kinda hard giving you any advice if you don't know what type of lens you want/need and how much you are willing to spend :p

well i really want to get a telephoto lens for portrait photography.

what can i do with the lighting since i always have trouble with it in doors and i dont like to use the flash or use high iso?

or would it be helpful and different if i used a eternal flash?

telephoto isnt that good for portraits unless you got full frame sensor, not to mention that you need to use really fast shutterspeed with telephoto or camera shake shows and blurs the image. even with 85mm its hard to take other than headshots indoors because its so long focal lenght. 50mm is really good for portraits on crop sensor. if you got enough cash for it i suggest sigma 50mm 1.4, i hate it that i bought canons 50mm 1.4 instead it was quite a disapoitment after using 50mm 1.2..

external flash is really good to have if you want that type of shots, you should get wireless triggers or off show cord for it. using external flash is like a whole new world to photography and it needs alot of practise. wanna buy my 580ex II?

what about full frame photos, because the portrait photos i take are some what fashion photography so i want to get their whole body in, wouldn't i have to stand back pretty far if i had to 50mm?

yes but you would have to be ever more far away with telephoto lens. something like 30mm would be good for full body shots, sigma 30mm 1.4 would be a good choise, but 30mm isnt good for closer shots, you could use that 100mm lens for headshots

yes but you need to be quite far away when taking full body shots. you had some zoom lens right? set it to 50mm and see if its ok focal lenght

im pretty sure you need to be way more far away when using 50mm than just 2 meters if you want to get full body in the frame :P

and nah it still gives the perspective of 50mm no matter how far away you are. you should read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perspective_distortion_(photography)
