It's wrong regardless of whether or not you make money from it.

Seriously, why do you need to keep making excuses for the fact that you prate software? I'm guilty of it too, but I'm not making excuses for it.

Why is it wrong if no one gets hurt?

I dont make excuses, i tell facts from my point of view and my point of view on this is purely objective.

You didnt ansver my question again ^_^

wow you do take it seriously huh? as if you are working for those record companies or movie studios
I didn't say that I download movies and music that I don't really like. Thanks to all those review sites I don't really have to but I do believe everyone should have a choice whether to pay for something that is available to everyone over the internet or not. It's a choice you should be able to make. It should be like being a member on this site. You can be a cheap bastard like me or donate money lol

haha I see why those snobby photographers I argued with are so serious about this they think the same thing would happen to their work as well and people use their intellectual property to make profit without sharing the cake which I don't really get I mean they already got paid by their clients and your ability to create art is yours only that's something nobody in the world would be able to duplicate. I don't mind people using my photos or whatever as long as I get credit for it xD

I'd agree with your first point if it was the band or record company or whoever placing the product online to download, but it's not, it's pirates.

But that's the thing, you're not giving any credit to Adobe by stealing their work, so why shouldn't anyone just steal yours?

Sigh. If people bought CS4, rather than pirated it, Adobe wouldn't have needed to make 600 people redundant. Is it that hard to understand?

Nah i totally understand it. But if people who wouldnt bought it enyways downloaded it, it wont have eny negative effect on theyr company. Actually it made the product more famous amongst people and i bet meny bought it because someone who used it illegally suggested it. hard to understand?

No, I understand what you're getting at, but I'm not convinced that they've made any money from the situation when you consider the amount of people that actually use PS.

uh I am sure those illegally downloaded Photoshop are still called Adobe Photoshop right? so the creator of that software is still Adobe and not McDonlads or WalMart or Microsoft or whatever
It's the same with my photos. I wouldn't mind you using it as long as it says it was taken by me.

Those 600 people who lost their job is unfortunate but it has nothing to do with people downloading photoshop because as I said most people who illegally download that software would never have bought it in the first place because of it's high cost and I have yet to see that so called student version or whatever. Oh and if it is available does it mean everyone from kindergarten up to college can buy it??
I believe Photoshop is much like Autocad which is created as a tool for professionals who use them to make money not for average Joe or little 10yr old Jimmy. The iinternet has just made it available for everyone
