yeh i did this last time but it by 15 seconds the clouds seemed to overexpose i might try it again when the next storm comes hopefully gunna get a dslr in a month smile.gif


hmm in which mode did you take those pictures? If you did it in full manual mode you may had to change the f number too not just ISO speed. Correct me if I am wrong but I think the shutter priority mode is most suitable for those kind of shots course all you have to worry about is the shutterspeed and ISO speed and let the camera select which F number to use.

Use a neutral density filter.
