What battery does yours take? I only bought mine for 70 bucks.... could have spent 100 if I wanted the "canon" one, but the non-canon had 2 year warranty, and it was WAY cheaper. The battery has done pretty good for me so far.
I do plan to buy a battery grip once I get my tax back xD
Oh hahaha that's cheap. I think mine is BP-511A and it's pretty pricey for a stupid battery. umm do you mind if I ask you what brand your extra battery is? If they really gives you 2 yr warranty and it's working fine for you I may will buy for one for mine as well if they make one for 40D.
Well I guess I also could buy an accessory pack for my camera which comes with a grip and a Canon battery...
I haven't really done my tax yet course I will have to go to Service Canada and ask them to help me do my taxes lol since I am new to this country but I will only get like 250 bucks back since I only worked like a month here last year lol. hmm I guess I'll save my tax money to get a new lens or a tripod later in April

. Oh and another question lol if you don't mind. What equipment did you use when you took pictures at your brothers graduation? I will probably go to one of my friends graduation in June at least he asked me today if I wanted to take some pictures of him and his friends so I probably want to learn some more about portrait photography and find out what equipment I will need.
