And London might not be neat by your standards but I sure is to mine.
And I haven't only been in the center, I've been there a whole month exploring all the city.

I've never been to Rome, so I can't make the comparison, but London definitely isn't neat, although it might very well be neat when compared to Rome.
Any particular areas you liked in London?

No offense taken  wink.gif.
It's just that I have been dreaming of going somewere else all my life. And I really don't mind cold at all (I actually often go hiking at high altitudes in the summer to chill a little).
Rome is just... : dirty, unorganized, unrespectuful, annoying.
It's just simple things that people do that really piss me off, the whole "I don't care / take it easy" attitude is driving me up the wall.

Hey! You are like me lol. Well I think I had been dreaming about moving away from Sweden since I was in grade 7 because I got sick of the people there and at first I wanted to start a new life in the States but I think after my visit there in 2001 I kinda changed my mind a lil bit. Then I discovered how nice Canada is and basically it's just like the US but with nicer people lol. I guess you are not the kind of person who likes to live in big cities because it's kinda chaotic, dirty with a lot of annoying and boring people lol.

I have to agree with you about London not being neat. When I was there a year ago I had to take the subway from one side of the city to an airport located on the side of this huge city and I almost suffocate in those tiny subway trains because it's so freaking humid down there lol and people riding those trains look even more miserable than those I used to see in the subway in Stockholm lol.

I usually found that the more I go north in Europe the more the "neatness" increases.
By neatness I just don't mean cleanliness, but in a more generic way: the way people interact with other people and places (how people walk on the street, relate to others, traffic etc...)

I have been to london 5 years ago and frankly I don't really remember many names, I really liked the parks, and the overall feeling of walking around.

And it's not that I don't like big cities, my cousin lives in NYC and I often go over there and love it.
Even though NY is not really neat it's just so totally different from Rome that I find it incredibly interesting (even though I have been there many times).

Well I could imagine that the streets in those countries up north are much less chaotic than those in Italy and people MAY be more polite but they are also more boring too lol. You really should visit Stockholm one day and ride the subway there then you'll know what I am talking about biggrin.gif.

Well NYC is different tongue.gif It's like everyone loves New York and I can't believe that I have never been there before lol but I do have seen it from the air and the view was really magnificent and that was before 9-11 too so I saw the twin towers from the air it's just too bad that I didn't have a camera with me lol.

I think mr Astragony is just one of those people who thinks that grass is always greener on the other side, no offense wink.gif.

I think its in the basic nature of human to think that elsewhere something is better, thats one of the things that has been keeping the humanity trying to get better all this time.

Enyways, indias or chinas(or something between them) countryside is something i really would like to visit, i bet id want to live there. I dont think there is eny other places id live instead of finland, even tho winter is so fucked up here, the summer is ten times better.

China would be great to visit, but personally, the one place I would kill to go to would be Iceland, the landscape is just stunning.

My mum and stepdad went there for a job, some of the photos my stepdad took were just absolutely crazy. The landscape is just beautiful.

Well not everyone thinks that grass is better on the other side lol. I have met people who would just want to remain where they are and have absolutely no interest in traveling to other countries lol but then again we are all different some may choose to live under a rock and are probably happy with it.

OMG. Do you know how crappy the rural areas of those countries are? I haven't seen or been to the rural areas in China but from what I have heard it's not really a good place to live. I mean everyone is living in dirty old houses and huts and many of them don't even have clean water or any kind of sanitary equipment so basically you would have to dig a hole in your backyard if you want to do your business lmao. Basically the living standard is extremely low in those places but I am sure it's easy to find a nice piece of land to grow weed though laugh.gif jk.

I wouldn't want to live in those places, I'd just like to be an annoying tourist walking around with a camera that'd take them 10 years of hard work to afford.
