No, you need complete and utter darkness when you're loading the film onto the spool, you won't be able to see your hand directly in front of your eyes, let alone anything else. Once it's loaded into the tank you can turn the light back on though. You need safelight's when you're printing, so you can still see, it's just the loading that's a pain.
lmao! Well I better start practicing how to do that by blindfold myself or something lol it does sounds like pain in the butt but it also sounds fun too
