doesnt strobe effect lighting help with a camera's focus. Like an AF assist method?
coz the built-in flash can fire bursts of light, to help the focus pinpoint the point of focus, right?

Built in flashes use flash as af assistant when in use, but most good flashes have af assistant that focuses with infrared beam instead of flashing the strobe. With those auto settings the strobe makes lower first flash that it uses to calculate the right light power, if i remember right.

uh ok now I am even more confused. So a camera flash is a strobe but there are strobes that could flash continuously?
Well stop calling camera flashes strobes ffs! lol It's a freaking flash not a stupid strobe besides strobe is such an ugly name

I think those lights in studio that are allways on are just called studio lights, not strobes.

I just realized the 28mm I was telling you about a while back is actually a wide angle lol.
I didn't notice until I was comparing with my other lenses.
with 1.6crop factor, like on 450d the 28mm is called wide angle, because its wide on full frame sensor or film, about 50mm on film is same as 28mm on that crop factor and 50mm is called a normal lens(most old film cameras without zoom lens are with 50mm lens). So 28mm is more like normal lens with 1.6 crop camera, even tho its called a wide angle.
im pretty stoned so i hope im making sense
