though it is a nice picture but it was either poorly composed (long focal length) or cropped because not much of the fireworks was showing and it would be nice if the photographer himself/herself posted this photo

yes but not like ten hours every day I am not saying that you should be like those crazy Asian guys who would stay awake for like 50 hours playing D2 or Starcraft
well I have slept for more than ten hours a few times too but that's only when I was absolutely bored or sick.

"classic" firework shots are done with multiple shots of a same situation in photoshop. Its actually pretty boring - stack up like multiple shots of fireworks on one image to make those nice composite firework shots!

True.

individual ones yeah, but the beautiful compositions like the ones u see on magazines aren't.

Reason being, too long exposures = overexposed skies or overexposed lighted buildings.
