ohh crap! lol I dont really remember the name of that store... but its a Canon repair shop and called vision something lol
I went there sometime in early August to get my EOS 40D fixed because the main LCD broke like three days after I bought it.

I am currently living in Regina, Canada but less than two months ago I lived in Bandhagen, Stockholm. So I guess you are one of those rich snobby kids who live in the downtown area huh? haha just kidding smile.gif

Haha, I kinda am though good guessing :] That's the funny thing with my family... We are wealthy but I don't really benefit from it lol. My parents strongly believe in the whole "learning how hard the world is from day one" crap so I'm stuck with less cash/stuff than my friends who actually come from poor families xD Argh, guess I'll thank them in the future eh? wink.gif

oh! well that's good course I have seen so many snobby spoiled kids driving around in their fancy cars in the downtown area and dressed like a bunch of douche bags lol My family isn't that poor either but still they treated me like shit and made me work and all that at young age but I guess I have learned to work hard and not to expect to depends on my parents or get any kind of help from them. So how long have you been into photography by now? I am just surprised that you just started to post stuff in this forum, I mean it would have be nice to talk to someone who actually live in Stockholm and whom also has photography as a hobby because none of my friends in Sweden are interested in photography, those boring jerks lol jk

Haha xD Same here tongue.gif Well. I guess... I haven't really taken it up as a hobby until about two weeks ago heh, but I've kinda always been around photography. Like my dad's is an ex-professional photographer (Well, he still is but he hardly ever does it anymore) and lots of older friends of my family are professional takers. I was one of those kids that grew up on "One-time cameras" every time we traveled abroad happy.gif"

Edit* Oh, wow how rude of me. How about you? tongue.gif

wow so I guess if you decide to get serious with photography your dad will surely be able to teach you and even help you out with equipment tongue.gif
Well my dad is sorta interested in photography and actually when I was younger he sorta tried to force me to take a photography class at my school but I am a very stubborn person and if people ever try to force me to do something I would resist, fiercely too haha. Well I guess it all started when my family got a kitten and that was like 6 years ago and then later I saw photos a friend of mine took of her cat so I decided to buy a digital camera as well. At first I was more into snapshots and didn't really consider photography as a hobby probably because I spent most of my time playing stupid games lol but earlier this year I decided to quit D2 and really started to get serious with photography and bought myself a nice DSLR, EOS 40D biggrin.gif. Well as you can see I have been travelling around Stockholm quite a bit and been to places I had never been to before. Yes, up until earlier this year I actually had never been to a lot of places in Stockholm which is quite sad now I'm thinking about it but oh well better late than never, right? tongue.gif

Haha that sounds great xD Unfortunatly for me though my dad still doesn't know anything about digital tongue.gif He still shoots with a full system and develops. Lol. It's kinda the same thing here... Than again I'm only 16 tongue.gif I'm getting ready to study for the SAT's next year though as I think I want to move to the states as soon as I'm done with Gymnasium. I kinda feel pretty outside the normal Swede though ohmy.gif Like I don't do ANYTHING typical swedish >< ( I don't even have "julbord" lol). Having one parent from the US and the other Sweden I've always kinda had identity issues :s however during the past few months I've realized I feel a whole lot more American than Swedish (It kinda hit me when I got held back after a Swedish class cause the teacher wanted to talk to me about my English accent I didn't even know I had when speaking Swedish o.o")

wow I guess I am not the only one who have this uhh identity issue. Well to tell you the truth my parents are from Asia but I more or less grew up in Sweden and speak Swedish fluently, actually my Chinese really sucks now lol. I have always tried to fit in but it's hard though with some people distrusting and disliking immigrants who are not Caucasian and the way my parents treated me has also made me allergic to my own kind that's why all my friends are either Swedish or immigrants from the Middle East. Anyway I can relate to the problem you are having with your Swedish teacher because the teacher in Swedish I had in highschool (gymnasium) kept telling me that I had grammatical errors when I speak and in the essays I wrote which I just find odd because I have seen native Swedish who could barely spell!! and there she is, an old narrow minded hag telling me that my Swedish wasn't good enough... Well I have always wanted to move to North America but due to my laziness, "wussiness" and bad habit to procrastinate I didn't try to do anything about my unhappy life in Sweden until recently when I finally decided to get a new life and applied for a temporary job permit in Canada. lol Anyway! At least you consider yourself an American while I don't even know who I should consider myself, I mean here in Canada a lot of people would give me a weird look when I told them that I am from Sweden because I am not blond and don't have blue eyes rolleyes.gif

Haha thats true xD I'm not even sure If I want to go to the states... I just want to get out of here tongue.gif No offence, but I can't stand Swedes. Everyone here is so uptight, prude and conservative. I'm like the total opposite :c The weather also totally sucks ... It's so "#(/#" cold & dark here. I mean I can deal with the cold but the 3hours of sun each day is terrible. Especially considering it can go weeks before we get a non-cloudy day where the sun is actually able to light something up ><
