Not entirely sure, but I'd imagine £300 minimum for a half decent quality lens.




What's wrong is it's probably not supported any more.

Actually I got a question!
As I'm wanting a new lens, I'm checking prices around the world (lenses in denmark = waaaaay to expensive):

SAL-50F14 (50 mm, F1.4):
Denmark: $740,50
US: $370
UK: $472,23 (~£290.66)
..

Surprisingly expensive, right?

BUT I got a friend who's going to Dubai in a few weeks and I was wondering if it were any cheaper there?

Either way, I'm going to the US in the summer, so I'll probably buy it there.

but the thing is that it didnt really work on one of my old analoge canons either.

I'd imagine it's around the same as US prices, and he might be able to get the lens duty free at the airport.

Throw out the box and use it before you go to the airport. But you will have to pay "moms" and "told" if you get caught.

The autofocus is fuckin killing me tho... its horrid.
