I think usual rating in numbers would do much better, I have a hard time taking that rating serious, and I think marie's picture deserves better!

About your picture, I don't like the combination of her shirt and the background you have chosen for the photo, however I like the expression of the model!

Well, no one rated my picture and no one rated this picture either...
So I will do it :)
I absolutely LOVE this photo!!!
The reflection, the fog, the plants in the foreground, the composition, it is all perfect!
I look at it and it is almost scary! As if a zombie or something was to get out of the water, coming from that ghost island!!!
I'll give it a 9.8/10
The 0.2 missing is from maybe a missing ray of warmer light :p

Since I have to rate the photo right above as well, Ihave no choice but to try to rate is as well...
Unfortunately I'm not good with portraits, and this one in particular has nothing for the model...
The light is somewhat good, but the expression is fake and the guy is just ugly, sorry.
I'll have to go with a 3/10, with points only going toward the studio light... :(

I'll have more after I visit my parents, but this one was less than one Mb so I could upload it at home...

Last night the kids and I went to the mountain and my daughter was able to attract those little birds on her hand!
I had to crop the picture considerably and cut most the of the hand that was overexposed and distracting in the photo...

why didnt you look for a place where there arent people in the shot like that? if you had different angle you could have had really good shot, but because of those two people this shot is pretty much ruined

like i said, i was just practicing with the camera, but this is the one photo i actually liked. also, there were sooooooo many people, i couldn't have possibly gotten a good angle with no one in it, i got there pretty late :P
