what kind of filter?

A B+W 72mm Kaeseman MRC CPL and a Lee Big Stopper 4x4 for a total of 12 stops of light reduction. 4min exposure. If i didn't forget my remote release at home.. i was actually gonna do a 16 minute exposure :(.

bulb setting. If you set your camera on manual, you can turn it to bulb. It's the one after 30sec.

Bulb = the shutter stays open for as long as the shutter is pressed.

wow I had no idea... I just learned something new!! I have to try it lol... I've been playing around with slow shutter speeds a lot lately because they really can create some cool effects lol

doesn't the sensor heat up a little too much though and cause hot pixel noise?

Hi!

I'm usually in the Joker's Dimension, but I accidentally wandered over here, and I really like the pictures you guys do. I've never really done much with photography, but I'd like to learn.

What do you think of this one that I took?

Edit: It's not the sharpest in the world, but it was during a blizzard and through a window. Overall, I like how it turned out. Even not being sharp, it gives it a softer effect that goes with the snow, I think. But like I said, I've never done anything with photography and I'd love some opinions.

Edit again: I forgot to rate the picture above me, sorry. It's a lot of blue, and it doesn't seem to have much besides BLUE. That might be the point, though. :P
