You choose really interesting perspectives when you shoot things like this. I like how it leads your eye up. 8/10

In my opinion it's too busy, I do love that shade of blue though.

I love it, the composition is excellent and the subject is crazy sharp! The editing really compliments the picture overall. Only if that little stump wasn't there... 8.5/10

8/10 I love the monkey and the cloth and tree pulls you into the image. The background is a bit too out of focus for my liking, but that's just personal preference.

Here is one without the stump.

I think what he meant to say is that the bokeh is too buttery smooth. :D

Pretty cool and it's quite sharp. The sepia seems to suit the image. Maybe next time you shoot the shot, try implementing a little movement in the subject, gently blow air on it and slow the shutter right down. It will create another element or depth to the image. The highlight in the bottom right is drawing my eye downwards :/ Can you mirror the image or maybe clone it out? 4/10

A pic from a recent Christening I shot, shot with ambient window light (125th@f4@3200iso). Just one of many that myself and the client were really happy with:

lol no problems man, i'll give it a crack :)

The most important thing though is attention to detail while shooting the image and giving self criticism afterwards.

You will be amazed at how much time you actually have to shoot a shot. Relax for 20 seconds, breath in, and think about all the elements of your subject.

Criticize mine and I'll critique back
