I love the dog. Honestly, this picture looks like taken by someone else than other pictures. Other pictures look snapshotish to me (no offense) but the dog has everything successful pic should have. It has atmosphere, really good compo, great postprocess this picture look really professional. You should try that way, follow this picture. Really. Keep that way m8.
And since i have some time, I'll make some notes:
your post:
1. snapshot of sun, use more closed aperture to gain nice star of sun, this look like compact or poor lens shot to me (you just ruining your chip with shots like this)
2. bad exposure (overexposed), too much of black there, no details in it
3. facebook picture of grill party
4. chaos
chantal's post:
5. destroyed what could be good pic - falling horizon at the top, too much space on bottom of pic, bad crop on top of pic, shallow DOF, these ruined picture
6. out of focus snapshot of tree
7. i like this, just lacking space on bottom of pic (compo issues)
8. i love this, seriously, keep this way, it is pic i can look at all day long, worth of posting on pro sites or exhibition. i love it
9. snap of fire
10. picture from family album, kid surrounded with chaos
11. chaotic forest from foggy window
12. snapshot, looking to me as accidentally pressed camera trigger
Sorry for being honest about my feeling of your pictures, hope you can accept some of my criticism

thanks for the input. i really don't mind people being harsh because it is the only way others can learn and get better. also i kinda agree on some of them.
also for the picture you all like (the one of my dog) here is the original before my girlfriend added a filter to it.
also the second one was taken shortly after that the same day in my room. (both no edits)
