Holy crap get down from your curtains and calm down!
Why so defensive? To me this is my opinion. I do not support violence either, so why tell me I show violence to my kids :o
I don't know how old you are and what kind of comments you expect, but this is m y opinion.
You are welcome to read it or not, but no raging.
You can shoot naked women all you want, this is your thing. But if you choose to post it here on jsp, expect comments from all kinds of people and from everywhere in the world.
I am not from Europe where as you mention people shoot naked women all day long, I am from Canada where we live in igloos and we can't show a nipple for fear it will freeze and fall off.
And if you want to compare yourself to the biggest photographers in this world, learn to show photos with little editing and not something that took you forever in editing.
That is not photography and not the right forum

defensive? you telling in previous post that 90% sigs in jsp show violence so its okay?
comments - any other than calling my work pornography!!!
don't put words in my mouth, I never compared myself to any photographer, I asked if you consider them as porn photographers too.
do you know what word photography stands for? let me quote wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photography

Quote
The word photography is based on the Greek φῶς (photos) "light" and γραφή (graphé) "representation by means of lines" or "drawing", together meaning "drawing with light".

and now in light of facts above be please so kind and tell me what words in this explanation above disqualifies this picture as photography and which tells that editing is not part of photography process. I believe you never took "wet process" picture, never retouched it with ink, never played in darkroom to correct partial exposure of picture right under enlarger, otherwise you would know that this is just digitalized process of something used commonly in photography since photography was invented. Matte painting was previously called collage, this is just more precise process.

Next time be so kind please and read the title, when there will be name "Document from fight in gypsy village" don't please attack someone with being not creative or why that group of gypsies have knives instead of standing in a group smiling and shaking hands. When it is called "Matte painting", be please sure you expect matte painting and don't insult author for showing matte painting instead of unedited shots. Got the point?

But especially for you, here is one natural shot with minimum of editing ;) :

Disagree with you, Marie. There is no Jas'n portrayed, so there cannot be fappage.

Yeah, my first thought was I SEE NIPS. But hey, Ive made tags with boobs and mine are out all day long, who am I to complain?

But this is more into graphic design than photography imo (like you said in the OP) and from a graphic design perspective, I dont like it. It just seems super cheesy and overdone to me.

:) thx for opinion, I just feel it this way: since I made everything in this picture except lighthouse (which is barely 1-2% of picture), it has to be considered as both, you can not divide it in either graphic design or photography. I prepared shot, knew exactly what I want to make before started shooting, all other pictures were taken for this particular purpose and then I was working in PS on it for about 15 hours (shooting together took me another about 15 hours with searching for right shot, looking for angles, preparing, moving to location, shooting girl, etc. etc. not counted traveling into this time, locations distance between shots is about 1200 miles) it can not be (I believe and feel it this way) just separated. It can be considered as one complex piece containing every single pixel (except lighthouse) produced by me.

From a designers perspective, I don't really get the concept. She's in a "beauty" pose but the feel of the piece seems to be "horror" or something of the sort.

Could you not say this for every piece of art then?

I absolutely love your lighting but for me this piece just doesn't do it. IMO a little too over the top but a talent non the less mate. Maybe it's just the composition? would have liked to have seen her on the left more. He body is opening to the right (her left) which is closing off the left side of the picture. if you were to move here over it would provide a much nicer flow, unity and feel to the matte painting imo.

^ would have been nice to see you play with this elMagico. It feels very "Black Dahlia."
