I think sometimes it works. Here are some recent shots of a photoshoot I did before Valentine's Day.

In some of my photos a lot of the times I slightly over expose them. I used to be really bad at it D: I'm getting better!





Which do you guys like more?

I'm iffy towards the pp on the last one, I usually do this to 2 or 3 of the photos total. Something about it I just love though.

if you recover more skin detail on #2, add a tiny bit of vignette, and brighten up the eyes just a tad bit, #2 will be sexy. nice pp.

Its kindof hard to compare contrast vs less contrast on two images. More so, high contrast is (as mentioned before)
case specific. Some images DO work with high contrast, but the main idea is that you sacrifice detail and meaning
for a flat image that "pops"
