If we have a D4, there will be a 1DS4 or a 5DMKIII, in the end, 5DII will go even lower, so Canon will always be a better deal.
I have nothing against Nikon, I probably like D700 more than the 5DII, but the price/performance relation is really bad. Every Nikon lens is more expansive and many of that lenses are very old... And btw, why not ISO 100 until D7000? It is somethings that drives me mad :D
