Haven't had the chance to use it. Why is it better?
It'll be good because controlling six flash units @ 3 frequencies to flash where needed during a wedding's venue gets confusing and at many times its been unresponsive, so I'm looking for something that can interface with the wireless triggers a lot more efficiently.

if you need full frame, 5d and 1ds are the only choices for that price and 5d is better. i dont get why you guys even talk about some crop cameras, i would rather use 1ds(or even 1d) than any 1.6 crop camera, even tho 1d has crappy lcd screen and low iso, FF just makes that much a difference overally for the picture.

Pretty hard to see the difference without seeing 100% crops.

i hope you arent suggesting that crop sensor can replace full frame, just because its not that easy to tell a difference in that situation.

Crop sensors are getting really good. I'm not sure it's smart for companies to make cropped sensors as good as full frames.

No, definitely not. But i guess what i'm trying to get across is that high-end croppers aren't as bad as you describe it. It's still somewhat suitable for some types of professional shooting gigs.

its not about iq. its about how dof is different when you use a larger sensor. not to mention that you cant get as wide with a crop camera than you can get with a full frame, or if you dont want ultra wide, you can get wide with less focal length.

I definitely can't argue with the DoF part, but on the contrary.. what if you needed supertelephoto range?
