That system is highly inefficient; I'd rather get paid a lot more for my time (800-2k USD) and give away pictures. Since not everyone can or will purchase photos, it is much better to practically give them away.
Contact info watermarks is really good publicity. I've gotten several brides thanks to that. In quinceañeras, giving away watermarked pictures to the parents of the court is 99% guarantee you'll get hired (since they're all in the same age group).
Albums > 16x20cm prints. They're much more marketable.
