Don't get arctic silver. Use Ocz freeze or shin etsu. Use hwmonitor instead of realtemp, what voltage is the CPU running at?

Your idle temps is pretty darn high.. What's the ambient air temp? You don't have any ghost processes using CPU cycles do u? Even my rig @4.4ghz has lower idle temp.

HWMonitor says my Vcore is 1.2V. I'll scout around for some Ocz freeze or Shin Etsu. As I said, I reckon the cooler is coming slightly loose off it's mount again. Even though I was quite firm. Seems to be idling at 35 now, although all I've done is open ps so far today.

Ambient temp is room temp.. ~20.

I am unaware of any ghost processes running at the moment. Looks clean in task manager :/

ps. what photos do you want critiqued ?

Hehe, taken during the golden hours. I was up for sunrise pictures but didn't get there early enough to scout for a good spot.. End up just walking around the lake. Took that pic right when the sun was going up.

imo a landscape shot would have looked prettier, especially if you included more of the platform the duck is walking in.

1.

The first one is a duck cleaning itself. I guess the isolation is nice, being the only subject matter in the frame. Composition was well thought out I guess.

2.

I think this is one is gorgeous, and probably the best photograph you have taken (that I have seen). The expression is cute. The colour and saturation are warm which is complementary to the subject. Was this candid or posed?

3.

I know it wasn't intentional but the colour palette blends together really well in this image. Very warm and the saturation is nice. Position on the frame is nice, my eye goes straight to the subject matter and is spoiled by the colour that surrounds it.

4.

Does absolutely nothing for me. Bad light. Weird colour cast which looks like it was done in post (notice how much I've been condemning it lately, I think it's revolting and doesn't improve an image, under any circumstance). What were you trying to do here? I see an image taken of the back of a shop with some shit laying around everywhere. Sorry :/

5.

It's a duck waddling across a jetty? Nice colour of light, but that's about it.

6.

A primate in a tree with a branch cutting right across the frame through the subjects face. Lacks tonality and looks very bland and grey. Wouldn't of converted it to greyscale

7.

Too much in the frame which clashes with the subject. Would be a great shot if the background was more solid in shape and colour. It's really distracting. A tighter crop would of been a lot nicer. Don't be afraid to go tight in camera.

I've noticed the quality of light you are shooting in has improved a lot since you first starting posting images. It's really good to see that you are really taking note of when the right light is.
