Eeek my self-made gear bag tore yesterday T_T
It was pretty worn out anyway.
Do you know of any good, somewhat inexpensive (less than $200) fit-all-in-1 bag that would fit at least 2 bodies and 3-4 lenses + flash & diffuser?
lmk :)

Otherwise Ii'll have to make a new one :(

Do you want a backpack or a shoulder bag? You and i have pretty similar gear, i can show you how much gear my crumpler 7mdh and my ThinkTank Streetwalker HD holds when i get back from work tonight. (the ThinkTank is really a tank i swear, extremely high quality bag).

Assuming you were talking to me? :O

Lol backpack it is then. Want me to wear my suit and model for you with the backpack??

I don't have 2 bodies so you're just gonna have to trust me it fits.

Overall view of the bag itself. The outer material is weatherproof, but it comes with a waterproof cover for huge downpours.

The back of the backpack, there is tons of padding with breathable material. Ultra comfy, i wore this hiking up Stone mountain if you remember the thread. One and a half mile hike with 30lb of equipment in 95ºF direct sunlight, air circulation is excellent and the padding helps a ton.

There is elastic pockets on the strap itself for storing extra batteries or memory cards etc. Metal hooks on it for you to mount the camera straps to it if you don't want to wear it around the neck.

On top, theres a handle and a place to put your business cards to identify your bag.

Under the lumbar support, there are waist straps when the bag is heavy.

In the front, there is a tripod holder if you're hauling a non-travel size tripod.

It stows away neatly if not needed.

There is also a slot that hold a laptop etc. Tons of padding inside so nothing to worry. It holds my 13" Macbook Pro with room to spare. a 17" Laptop may fit also.

Now on the side pockets, there are elastic pouches for water bottles etc.

More room for storage or bigger water bottles inside the zippered pocket

Now the front top pocket, there are room for pens, phone, memory cards, extra batteries etc.

Inside of the bag, tons of dividers and padded very heavily to protect the gear.

Two plastic pockets on top for other accessories.

This shows how much gear it can hold.. and it can hold a crap load. Going from top to bottom and left to right. "|" = divider
Top row-Waterproof jacket for the backpack | Canon 100L Macro IS with hood reversed | Canon 100-400L with hood reversed and giotto rocket blower | Colorchecker passport
Middle- Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 with hood reversed | Canon 15-85 with hood reversed | and Canon 50D with BG-E2N grip mounted on a 70-200 f/4L with hood reversed (the f/2.8 will also fit the same way)
Bottom- Canon 1.4x Extender stacked on top of a set of kenko extension tubes | Sigma 30 f/1.4 on top of canon 50 f/1.8 | Speedlite 430 EXII on bottom and Speedlite 580 EX II on top with Sto-Fen omi bounce and wireless triggers.

Showing the 50 1.8 on bottom

Showing the extension tubes.

Taking out the 100-400L, i can fit my Lee foundation kit with adapter ring bag and my filter pouch in it. I can save room by taking them out of the protective bag, but i take good care of my gear :)

On the flaps. I have my 2x circular polarizers on the bottom along with my strobist gels and filter wrench. On top i have extra body and lens caps, a bungee cord (for strapping flashes to poles etc) and remote shutter release.

Now on the outer top pocket, i have my extra batteries in the zipper pouch, memory cards in the appropriate holders, and lens pen/ tissue in a ziplock bag.

Depending on the weather, i may also carry my poncho with me.
