Besides it is fully possible to use Nikon lenses on Canon bodies but not the other way around

Where as pro photographers that have Canon bodies all want the Nikkor 14-24... And you'd be surprised at how many photographers that shoot nikon are using older glass. Plus I wasn't saying Nikon has THE best glass on the market, I was saying that they have some of the best glass on the market.
