Yes but it's just a posted sign.

If a photograph isn't strong enough to stand on it's own (which I don't think this is) then it must be accompanied by others which tell a story, or scrapped.

Well that's your opinion, mine on the other hand is that a photograph is to be looked at and unless accompanied by an explanation or story is to be thought of by the viewer, it's sort of a 'use your imagination' thing for me.

I agree... but it has to be a cracker of a shot.

The photo would be deleted off my drive and never see the light of day if I didn't like it enough.

I'm not even sure how I would go about making decently looking post processing DOF. So to answer your question, no.

k, lol just a question, its actually quite easy to do....

select what you want to have DOF, then use a lens blur..

90% of the time it comes out looking not the greatest, but small amounts can look nice.

Took me a while to realize 2 and 3 were the same pictures...
They have such different moods!!!
