I disagree.
You posted 2 expensive pancake lens cameras.
Neither of which would be practical to carry while fighting in a war.

there is pancake lenses for regular dslrs too, even if these cameras have pancake lenses doesent make them pancake lens cameras(there is no such thing). Those arent much bigger than point and shoot cameras and you are suggesting point and shoot thats about same price.. Point and shoot cameras small sensor has no chance vs bigger sensors that these cameras have. Allso i doubt that he would take eny kind of camera on a mission lol. If he wants small camera and quality, these are the only way to go. Dslrs would be cheaper, but if he wants small size he needs to pay bit extra. Samsung nx is totally comparable to cheap dslrs by iq, unlike eny point and shoot. Those other two with 2x crop sensor arent far away from dslr either. Point and shoots have something like x6 crop sensor and thats just way too small for overall serious photography, yes they can work in some situations, but does he want a camera that can only work well in few situations?

im wanting something i can keep in my truck. and go oh! kodak moment. and take a pic. or whenever fishing etc. i will not be able to take it on missions being military so that isnt a deciding factor.
