this is a bit of a hard subject there is no better make, despite what people say in general canon make better lenses, in general nikon make better bodys.

bmw vs merc would be a car example of how close this is.

Well, I don't think one is betyter than the other, I think it's more a question of what you use your camera for...

For instance, I own a pick up truck cause I live on a farm, but it sux for city driving cause of the fuel consumption...
So I'm really curious as to what someone likes and dislike about one camera, the day I will find my match, trust me I'll find the money to buy it!
I went in a store the other day, and I didn't even know what questions to ask the seller...

I can't afford a 4k camera, but I would like something good also..
Maybe with the pictures you all se me take, you know what I like to shoot and would be able to say: you're better off with this camera instead of that one...
Anyone understands what I mean? (sometimes I feel my English sux !!!)

I was looking at the Canon products at work couple days ago...
I got lost.... Reflex? D50? wtf???
They have technical words to say each camera is the best...
Ok...
But none of them say: this camera is the best for MotherOfTwo@jsp :p

their both great cameras, I only prefer canons over nikons because of how the buttons are set up, and the menu interface is cleaner. its funny switching from the brands because to zoom its the opposite way for some reason so ive been known to accidently go wide angle on people at work and make em huge, lmao

We'd have to know what kind of budget you're on, and what you're looking for in a camera, what kind of photos you want to take, etc.
