I'll have to ask: how many 'mp' are your camera on?
Thats some good quality eight there.

Wish i had a bigger screen on my laptop, but going from left to right on the big picture is just wicked :D
Seems to me that the Upload messed up the picture, if you look at the trail from buttom to top (On the big picture ofc)

Thanks ^_^ It's 12.2 mp!

It was me that messed up the right side of the photo.
There is actually 2 trails, they meet up and lead to 1 trail pretty much. (One is less of a trail than the other)
But I actually stitched it off a bit, so the right side may look a bit off :)

MP do not have anything to do with image quality. Only if you want to make large printouts or digital zoom.

Well it somewhat does.
a 12Mp Camera compared to a 3Mp camera photo, which will have better quality?

Quote:
Digital cameras capture images as pixel elements, known as pixels. Simply put, a megapixel is equal to one million pixels.

Digital images are made up of thousands of these tiny, tile-like picture elements. The more pixels, the higher the image resolution.

Resolution relates primarily to print size and the amount of detail an image has when viewed on a computer monitor at 100%.

The number of megapixels is only one aspect relating to the quality of a camera, or the actual quality of a photo it is capable of producing. Factors such as camera sensor and the optical quality of a lens play equally important roles.

If you buy a digital camera with too few megapixels for your printing and editing needs, photo quality can become degraded. A photo made into a large sized print from a camera with a low megapixel count will look fuzzy, or pixelated. So will a digital image that is cropped too much.

The 3MP camera make smaller photos. Compared to what I said it still make sense.
I would prefer a 10MP to the sensor the 450D has.

How so? It states that MP Is one contributing aspect to the quality of the images produced.

I think we are talking about very very low Mp here.

And btw, next time you make a quote say where you get it from.

I dunno, I just notice sometimes on Facebook, Myspace etc. that sometimes people upload photos taken with their 3MP Webcam, and the quality is garbage.

Dunno, I could be wrong, there's many different answers I think.

Webcam........ The sensor is very small, and the ISO is very high... You know the answer.
