Yes, and used alcohol. Most people would just cover it with cheap spay paint. Forgetting all about "oil" and papered the board so the paint to stick.

heh! Thanks I had no idea if it even was necessary... I just thought it sounded like a good idea so I don't get patches etc and so that the paint will stick better :3

make sure u get a quality spray paint..if you are painting the keys you don't want the paint to rub off on your finger tips

especially check certain places you tend to rest your hand often. those are the problematic areas!

Myes! I had originally intended to do so... but then I ran into a small problem x'D I'm a poor kid </3. Lacquer would be an extra $10ish dollars which I don't have atm :x *needs a job*


I thought about this as well x'D The only problem is that it really needs to dry in a well-vented area, untouched and from my prior dreamhack experience it's a rather bumpy ride for your computer when you walk ~200-300meters through the halls to get to your spot lol. I'd rather make sure it's done correctly the first time then ending up having to repaint it
