Astragany & Myself have both posted "Photography" related videos here.
As in videos, with photographic techniques such as DoF, etc.

Videos of people fighting or something like that wouldn't be allowed..

But I'm pretty sure photographic artistic videos are ^_^

I usually do video/photo of subjects, and post both!

e/ You are NOT allowed to post downloads though.
I just noticed the video you posted was a download, it's not allowed lol!

If you upload that Sledge video you youtube, and embed it into the thread, that is allowed! ^_^
e/ OR a link to the video uploaded, such as vimeo/youtube.

pretty neat video though.

That video isn't a download... It doesn't work any different from Youtube videos it just opens with Windows Media Player in your browser.

You have to DL the video/open it.

When I click the link you posted, the download [open]/[save as] dialog came up.

That's why it may have been closed.

Opening with WMP is a download, you have to download it to open it.
It has to be embedded, playable right though the forum.

When I click on the link it opens Windows Media Player in Firefox and then plays the video, there's no downloading required, it just streams the video right off my site.

Well, you download it no matter what. :)
I have the option to either open it or save it, it is the way you configure your browser.

If the video cannot be seen by every user without a download, then for sure the topic will be trashed...
This is how some idiots send us keyloggers.....
And they are very popular nowadays..
So if your video got trashed, that is probably the reason...

I know youtube has very crappy quality...
But did you try tinypic.com?
It has a video option, but I don't know about the quality on it though..
Worth a try?

Youtube has some awesome quality right now, if the user knows how to render & save the video in 720p HD format, it can play amazing!

Imo it's still crappy. You still see un-clear blurry videos. <_<

Hhmm, embedding videos is not working in this thread, for some odd reason.

But, if you want to see a video that has been correctly rendered into 720P HD for Youtube, check out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBG4vG1JX3

You will be amazed at how spectacular that video is.
