yeah it's pretty much the same in Sweden kinda boring if you ask me.
I wonder if you guys get tornadoes here in Saskatchewan course I would LOVE to take some pictures of those lol.

There are tornadoes, down in the Yorkton area, I think... and I can't remember when we get lightning here... usually when it gets fairly hot.

ok I actually tried hard to find that city on google but I couldn't really find exact location of it lol. So how far is it from Regina or mj?
Well I think the landscape of Saskatchewan is perfect for taking lighting photos and other awesome looking weather phenomenons. It's like an enormous piece of land of flatness.

Nahhh....! You did some 15 second exposures in your other pics, right? Remember? Set it at 15 seconds, then if your camera lets you, change the ISO to the lowest number wink.gif Set it down, and while it's lightning, you'll get more than one bolt in the pic, if it strikes within 15 seconds xD.

hmm well I don't think it would work out very good if the thunderstorm happens during the day, correct me if I am wrong but using 15s exposure in broad day light would probably be too much.
Let's hope he will be lucky and get that thunderstorm in the evening :D. Hey! Btw I think that Sigma lens of yours would be perfect for shooting lightning pics because of it's much wider field of view.

Uhm, no... thunderstorms normally occur at night wink.gif hehe. Where I live, anyways. Never seen a thunderstorm during the day... it always turns dark if it's during the day, or you don't even see much lightning.

Oh! Then I guess you guys are lucky then lol course I think most of the thunderstorms we get in Sweden are usually during the day and even though it gets a bit dark because of those scary clouds I think it would still be too much for a 15 secs exposure shot. I guess those lightnings in Sweden are more like farts, you only hear but couldn't see them ohmy.gif
Well it's lucky that I also happen to be a night owl course I am so going to try to take some nighttime lightning storm shots biggrin.gif

Hmm - yeah, that's the only issue with that. You lowered the ISO to the lowest point?
