lol - you don't even know the guy. He's a deep thought kinda guy, trust me xD

I think you just need to have a little more patients in taking pictures, and find something unique and different, and not something you see everyday. That's when I take a picture.

hmm yeah I guess he's kinda of a mysterious type of person. If it's Nathan you are talking about lol. I kinda wish I could have got to know him better though course he seems to be an interesting person and I guess I kinda like those kind of quiet people with deep thoughts because they are usually a lot wiser than those loud mouth fools who would tell you everything they have on their mind heh.

Well as I said before sometimes when I see certain things that amaze me or sights that I made me stop and want to admire the view I tend to get excited and just lift my camera and press the shutter button even though I think I put whole a lot more effort in taking pictures now than before. I have a question for ya. I have noticed that some of the pictures you took with your old p&s got really nice background blur like the one you took of that caterpillar and some of the pictures you took in Sweden I don't think I have ever managed to do that before I learned about how to control depth of field thingy by using a wider aperture. Did you use aperture priority mode on your old camera or you just tried to focus on the main object? heh it's kinda sad that I bought a quite expensive compact camera and still couldn't take any really decent pictures while you took all those amazing pics with your simply and cheap camera :p.

I don't remember what mode I used at all with my old camera, it could have even been macro mode, which makes it easier to take close ups. I like compacts for macro, it's the number one thing I miss about them.

hmm I didn't know that compacts are good for taking macro pics. I'll have to check if mine has it. I think the macro mode on my old p&s was almost never used for some reason even though I actually tried to take some pictures of bugs and stuff lol.

It's a K? tongue.gif

Well I found a few more old pictures. Most of them are just simple landscape shots though. The place where I spent my teenage years actually is very beautiful during the summer it's just too bad that the people there aren't so nice heh.

haha it's kinda funny the way some cats sleep. I mean it doesn't look comfortable at all and hard to imagine how it could fall asleep like that lol.
