it looks nothing like a HDR, i simply replaced the sky. true if i had more time i would have made it neater. but who cares if i missed a little bit around the edge? just try to imagine it without the sloppyness smile.gif

I've done that before happy.gif Used a photo that I took, to replace the sky, though.

I really like the sky you put in one of my pictures lol but I think not all pictures could be done that way and still look more or less natural especially those photos with a lot of trees and other "fuzzy" details lol. I am sure if you spend some time and energy in trying to blending the sky into the picture and change the color and exposure in the edges to match the sky it would probably look really great.

I think instead of heavy editing of that photo you probably should go back there during a nice sunset and take some pictures tongue.gif

Not saying how you did it was terrible, just replacing certain parts of a picture is no longer photography i think. That other photographers do it doesnt make it okay for me, If you think this way you could just stay at home and create the perfect picture by copying from other ones. That some pictures are not good because of the weather makes photography more fun for me, because it is a challenge to find an opportunity to take a picture under the right circumstances.
